There are several different ways to build your page rank popularity. No matter which method you choose, you will have to get links placed on other websites directing to your page. Some people choose to place their page on websites with a PR of 3 or higher. Others just want their page links anywhere and everywhere.
To start you will need to figure how many links do you currently have for your page. Do this by….
- Go to website: http://linkpopularity.com
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and type in your URL
- Click onto the blue button that reads “Tell Me My Popularity!”
- Your “Free Link Popularity Report” will display Google, MSN, and Yahoo’s link counts.
- If applicable, click onto “click to view” for your counts.
The next question you might have is “How many links do I really need?” Unfortunately, there is no real answer. Sure some claim they have the magic number and you can surely try it. Just don’t be disappointed if any magic numbers do not work for you.
Building links to your site does require work and time. There are services that are being offered on the Internet, including Link Popularity, to bring you lists of your competitors inside information. If you however, wish not to pay try the following.
Go to the search engine you wish to create more back links for. So say you wish to have more links for your page in Google. In the search box, type in your niche and the word “guestbook”. Then browse through to locate websites that will allow you to comment in a guestbook with your link. You will need to place some VAILD comments about the website. Don’t Spam!
Using the same idea you can look for niche blogs to comment on. Forums are another great way as well. Just keep in mind you are not Spamming the forum, you are just including a link (if allowed) in your signature and profile.
If you are article marketing, you can use the option of adding your URL to your article. As an added bonus, you may receive additional websites linking to your page.
There are additional ways like adding a profile to social bookmarking sites and online classifieds with your page link. To become popular, you must do so by placing links!
