When I am among my friends and family there is one common question “How do you make money with the Internet”. They are not the only ones to ask. Now if you were to type that phrase into Google, you will see 254,000,000 search results!

What would happen if you were to type into Google “income online”? It brings in 137,000,000. Now, I understand these numbers do not truly represent facts. What it does represent is how popular the subject is. It really is A LOT of information, enough to make your head spin. Perhaps leave you with a headache that just will not quit.

The reason I am mentioning this is because it is really hard to stay focus on your goal. There are a lot of information about what products and services to use. Just when you believe you something that can potentially work, you steer off to another direction.

Maybe there was yet another ad within an ad. Or it was something you heard or seen. Whatever the case was or is, it needs to stop! I am struggling at the moment staying focused. I have just launched my niche website and already I am ready to move on. My niche website is far from being ready and no way prepared to make any income.

I believe the biggest obstacle people face is staying with it and completing the task. Sometimes it just may not be all the information either. Today, I had experienced a lot glitches with my blog. I just added one simple code that resulted in total shut down. My blog was black and despite my efforts, it took a long time to get right again.

So, what are the best actions to prevent distractions or setbacks? I cannot say I am an expert on this subject. I will say, what works for me. Keep it simple, set a few small goals initially. Bookmark websites that appear interesting and leave them.

With so much reading, typing, and sit-down time -take frequent breaks. I recommend working in 1 hour blocks followed with a 15-30 minute break.

During your breaks, don’t read anything. Relax your mind and be physical. I like to attend to my yard work. Getting some fresh air really does you good.

Most importantly, don’t be in front of your computer all day and into the night. Set a time to end your workday. Have healthy meals and occasionally allow yourself a treat.

Soon your mind and body will be better equip to get back to focus and ready to take the task at hand.
