Registered in May of 2007, there is a new social networking site up and coming. It is similar to MySpace but with a twist. Unlike MySpace, this site will share its advertising profits with its members.
It’s called….Yuwie
Free to join and enables you to make some cash. The system works by you referring people to Yuwie. The first question that might come to mind is “Is it illegal or a pyramid scheme?”.
Nope, it is not. With pyramid schemes you need to pay to join and that money funds the group. Usually with a pyramid scheme, if the main leader of group is unable to get more funds, the whole system crashes. Yuwie depends on its advertisers, referrals, and it’s free to join.
You will receive similar benefits as you do with MySpace. Blogs, photos, video, music, create and join clubs, make friends, invite friends, and MAKE SOME MONEY!

So how much can you really earn? Here is what Yuwie says about that: We can’t say exactly, but here’s an example of what could happen. The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3, then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page views for the month, and the month’s RSR is $0.50. Results are not guaranteed. This is just an example of what could happen. The RSR (revenue sharing rate) figures out how much the users get paid. After each month, a report will be created in your earnings area (found in your control panel). It will show exactly how many views your referral tree accumulated on each level. It will also show your earnings for each level.The actual calculation:RSR x (Page Views/1000) x Level Percentage = Your Earnings Keep in mind Yuwie is still in beta and just starting out.
