I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and for folks like me from the US – had a good Thanksgiving. Initially this month, I was hoping to work more. What I found instead was something quite interesting. My goal is to someday work a lot less and earn more money. After all I don’t want to be 60 years old and have to scrub toilets because I cannot afford to retire. Who does – right?
When I first started in September, I made little over $331.00 for 10 hours of work time. In October, I made more at $970.00 but worked 83 hours. Now, the final numbers are not in. However, for November I am making around $550 for less than 40 hours of work time.
Yes, once again the amounts are not very impressive. However, I am still on track with my goal. I firmly believe the average person with little skills and little time can eventually earn more and work less. It does require commitment and being headstrong.
So what do I believe I am doing right? Simply article marketing and niche websites. I confess, I have abandoned my first 2 niche websites. Someone day, I will go back and give it another go. For now though, I am concentrating on 1 niche website.
One of the things I did wrong with the first 2 websites was not using the power of article marketing. I hired a ghostwriter to write two articles for my third niche website. Then, to save some money, rewritten those articles and submitted to a few article directories. There are more articles to be written and I think I will hire my ghostwriter for 1 more article.
My results for this niche website are very promising. I just need to keep getting those articles out there.
The lesson I am learning – to get off my ass and get your niche websites articles submitted on the net. No excuses!
So if you are struggling to get website traffic and sales from your websites – spend about 20 bucks and hire a ghostwriter for a few articles. Insert those articles in your website. Rewrite the same articles and submit those to an article directory like ezine articles.
Sure it will not make your rich, but it will really give you a good start. It has taken me about a week to see the results. Now to me that is impressive.
